What happens when a completely normal Canadian teen's class gets a brand new student that just so happens to be an alien from beyond? And said alien wants this kid as his prize? Roles are switched as Zim and Dib are now in each others shoes. (I kinda noticed that there isn't much on AU's with Zim as a human and Dib as an Alien... Weird right?)

🧪 - Personal writing tests for Invader Zim! I have a few AU ideas I could pick up + I really need to write more so nyeah. :o) The writing may be a little janky when I start to release chapters since these are intended to build my confidence up for other works. Hopefully I can fix that though. POTENTIAL CONTENT WARNING: Zim and Skoodge romance might creep into these oneshots, however this isn't 100% guaranteed so please don't get your hopes up on that! Dib is 15 freshmeat I mean freshmen year and Zim is also 15000 (I don't know alien age okay. In human years that's 15..) Is this a ship fanfiction? Yes. Is there sexual stuff that most books have? No because they are teens and I feel weird writing that stuff for the fact the cartoon is taken place originally as young little kids. That's my opinion. So, the two boys, the main pov is Dib. As he grows he gets tired of Zim's little "kiddish playing around" crap and just wishes to grow up and leave the past alone. To start over. Start a new life and wish to be just friends and stop with all this messing around and being "enemies". Though, at the beginning he absolutely hates Zim with his guts so it took him a while to ask if they can be " friends." He knows damn well that Zim won't be capable of "destroying and ruling the Earth" crap. This is fluff and angst. Most they will do is a little kiss, and I mean little not making out lol. I'm trying to make this a slow-ish pace not too slow but also not too fast, you know..? No art in this belongs to me useless I say otherwise. WARNINGS.. Zim, being a former soldier, is called into battle as part of an infiltration team to rescue their captured tallest Purple. Zim leaves the Earth base in Gir's hands, unsure of his fate. With Zim on the front lines will him and team Defective be able to help bring back Purple, or will the Irken race fall and become slaves themselves.... What will Zim's revile Dib think of this? Will he take this opportunity to bring down Zim? What will Gir do without Zim? And will the Irken race lose one of their beloved leaders? Find out in... Irken Soldier.... This was created because I was having a break down like a month ago and I whipped up some comfort for myself :) There's nothing else after this small story, this is all you get. I just felt like sharing this story

After losing contact with the Irken Empire for 170 years, everyone believes Zim to be dead. But what everyone doesn't know is that he's still alive. Even though he has managed to defeat his greatest enemy, Dib, by freezing him, he still hasn't managed to take over Earth. But after a few mishaps at Zim's lab, Dib is released from his frozen state. In order to keep him from hurting him, Dib is forced to fix Zim's communications. After it's restored, Zim decided to take him to Irk and show him the true power of what he's been opposing...
