| "Sunshine?
"Yes, Grumpy?"
"You're beautiful." |
"Cressida Bloom was beautiful, not the kind of beauty you could see in her body or see in her face. She was beautiful because she was kind and, most of all, because she was beautiful to me. "
"I'll always remember how unapologetically herself she was, fought everyday to be as best she can, just so I can stand here today and tell you all the reasons she was better than I ever could be. Better than anyone could be."

Kaden Fellows is the definition of an unlovable, grouchy man. He takes his coffee black and doesn't enjoy the simple things. Cressida Bloom is the definition of sunshine. She's sweet and takes care of everyone around her.
What happens when their paths meet because of an incident on the street where Kaden saves her purse? Will she scare away his darkness, or will she get taken by it instead? Will it save her innocent soul or bring out a person she never wanted to be?
----------
A for Trevor and Sam, their story is different from the average friendship. Why? Trevor has been in love with his best friend Sam, since college. While Sam has audibly been homophobic his whole life, their own families had different opinions about such things, one cared only for their child's needs, while the other shunned him and made him live alone. Sam's life looks perfect on the outside: a mother and father, a big mansion, every expensive watch or car he wanted, but on the inside what wasn't been showed was the emptiness he felt. His parents never came home, they would travel and send postcards on their adventures. They would call it work, but he knew it was to get away from him. Trevor accepts Sam for who he is, just wanting to be loved. Will their love turn out a romance? Or will a fatal mistake ruin everything between them and ruin their friendship?
"Don't go."
"Why?"
"I don't want you leave me, too. I want you to be different then the rest. I want you to be better"
