It's the fifth Summer Alberto gets to spend with Luca and Giulia. However, this one is unlike any other. Atom bomb threats are all over the news in Italy. Luca and Alberto are scared that their life on the surface will come to an end . As for Giulia, along with all the other humans she's worried her life will come to an end. In Genova, school is finally out for two Underdogs, Luca and Giulia, who are both more than excited to go back to Portorosso and reunite with Alberto. "The whole festival is popular for young couples." Alberto immediately stopped complaining, and he whipped his head around to stare wide-eyed at his sister. "Couples?" Giulia nodded. "Si, ragazzo-pesce, that's what I said. You ask your sweetheart to dance, and if all goes well, you watch the fireworks together at the end of the night. And considering your undying love for Luca-" Alberto choked at this, "-this would be a perfect time for you to make a move." "I don't-" Alberto coughed, his face redder than before. "I can't-" He threw his head back and groaned dramatically, dragging his hand down his face. "I just don't want to make it weird." "Make it weird, huh?" Giulia deadpanned. "You're weird all the time, so Luca won't even notice." Or: The summer Ferragosto festival is approaching. Alberto yearns, Giulia schemes, Massimo worries, and Luca is completely oblivious.

From the movie luca (Made by disney and Pixar..) Luca and Alberto are in their late 30's and they have adopted two children, One boy and One girl.. They raised them.. Cosimo is 18 and Coda is 17. The only problem is that Coda hates sea monsters, she has never met or seen a sea monster.. she doesn't know her own parents Luca and Alberto are sea monsters. Emilia and Alberto have been happily together since that summer now as they reach the age of 19 and it is the final time that luca and Giulia will be returning to Portorosso Alberto gets a little over possessive of his girl which he doesn't get why. that is the least of the their problems when two people show up claiming to know Emilia but what will she do and what has Alberto planned for the end of the summer.

Luca's second year at school was not as he had anticipated at all. And things go from bad to worse. Feeling unsafe, Luca convinces his parents to send him to the deep, where he can be alone in his head space and out of sight from judging eyes How can he ever overcome his depleting self esteem alone? Basically gonna be angst, but also good times and getting hurt. ^^ Disclaimer: I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DIFFERENT SCHOOLS WERE LIKE IN THE 1950-60s. Perhaps I should've done a bit more research (i DID ask my dad about his school life tho so maybe that helps), but this is my first fanfic ever(that doesn't involve being homework) so I don't really wanna over do it I just fail to think school would be such an accepting place for Luca, speaking from my experiences. I mean the first year, sure, but the other years? Kids are assholes, schools don't do shit and we know it. Also I was gonna post this on AO3. The movie recently came out and i said why not! Unless specified, the characters are around 18 and Reader is gender neutral

When Y/n was only 4 years old, she was washed up onto the surface after getting caught in a Land Monster's net and escaping it. As a toddler, she didn't know what to do or where to go so she explored Portorosso. (Luca plot doesn't start immediately.)

(Just a note that in this fic sea monsters have mates like werewolves do, they don't know who it is until both are 18 years old) Alexia Simon is a not your typical teenager as she is a hybrid of a werewolf and a sea monster but at birth her mother unfortunately did not survive the delivery so her farther at his wife's dying wish took her to the small town of Portorosso to raise her. she had kept to herself as she and her farther lived on the outskirts of the town but on the eve of her 18th birthday she bumps into the towns most popular sea monster and discovered that he is her mate.
