Alberto was the best rider Portorosso Rodeo had to offer. Or he was until this golden eyed, mysterious stranger waltzed into ring (and consequently his heart). However, he knows better than to allow himself to fall so easily into this man's grasp. Especially not after he ran out last rodeo, leaving his mask behind like some kind of Cinderella's slipper. Luca's second year at school was not as he had anticipated at all. And things go from bad to worse. Feeling unsafe, Luca convinces his parents to send him to the deep, where he can be alone in his head space and out of sight from judging eyes How can he ever overcome his depleting self esteem alone? Basically gonna be angst, but also good times and getting hurt. ^^ Disclaimer: I HAVE NO IDEA HOW DIFFERENT SCHOOLS WERE LIKE IN THE 1950-60s. Perhaps I should've done a bit more research (i DID ask my dad about his school life tho so maybe that helps), but this is my first fanfic ever(that doesn't involve being homework) so I don't really wanna over do it I just fail to think school would be such an accepting place for Luca, speaking from my experiences. I mean the first year, sure, but the other years? Kids are assholes, schools don't do shit and we know it. Also I was gonna post this on AO3.
