Alex King has been crushing on Sarah Knight since Shophomore year, but she doesn't feel the same. Alex plays football. He's the captain, but he hates. He hates football, being captain, being so popular. Most days, he just wants to be left alone. His best friend, James Santchaz, is more of a team captain than Alex. More ways than one. Sarah Knight and her boyfriend, Andrew Louis, have been together for over one year, but for her, it feels like she is dating a ghost who never speaks. He barely knows she's there. She feels like a parent in her household. Her parents work a lot, so she is constantly babysitting her little sister, Elizabeth Knight. Once it was announced by Sarah's best friend, Maddie Stan, that there will be a school trip for two weeks, Sarah sees it as her chance to relax fully. But there come some complications with it. She is stuck in a beach cabin with three boys, including Alex.

This is just the first draft that I am writing, and I am willing to take any advice that anyone wants to give.

The Tainted, the group of people who were born with an assortment of abilities, are considered to be useless and unwelcome... When Ignis's brother kicks her out of the house for good, she makes her way to Greenville, to find her childhood friends, but when she arrives, not everything is going as planned and she gets dragged into the world of the Operator and his crew of serial killers. Will Ignis survive using her abilities, and make new friends and family? Or will she die trying to fit into her new home?
