The beginning ( I guess)

Melissa Morello has been in the Illinois State Psychiatric Hospital for almost two years. She was diagnosed with PTSD, Paranoid Schizophrenia, and other mental health issues. Her family moved out of the state because they couldn't take the pressure of their daughter/sister being in the loony bin. Melissa feels abandoned and scared for her life in this hospital. She has no friends and she can't stand the doctors and other workers here that treat her. Melissa misses her family. Soon she finds out that her family moved back to Illinois closer to where she is. Melissa wants to leave but the hospital doesn't want her to leave just yet. Her family wants her back and Melissa will do whatever it takes to be with her family.
