When the core of a Utopian society starts to question their own ways the community is thrown into chaos. This is basically part of "The Giver" told in the Givers point of view. It was supposed to capture the voice of a wise, tired old man. It was another school project that I decided to share. Hope you like it :)

William a 13 year old ran away from his house. He never expected his life to go so great.

"Hello, Kathryn We, the committee, have chosen you. We have watched your every step from birth until now. As of your highschool graduation, we are excited to announce that you are in-line to join the next game. Inside this box you will find everything you need to find the entrance and start your journey. Good luck, and have fun. ~ The Committee." Kathryn was just 18, just graduated from high school, and just started planning her future, when her whole world was put on pause. She opened the mail that day expecting to see college acceptance letters, or gifts from her grandparents for graduating with a 4.0. She was wrong. When she opened her mail on that stormy afternoon she had no idea what she'd be accepting into her life. She didn't know true betrayal, true heartbreak, or true love. It felt like time stood still, even with the wind shaking the trees outside, causing branches to knock on the room. At least the sound reminded her that the clock was still ticking.

This is story is set in 1998 but it is very high tect. This is about a group of girls in a town That go to an all girl school. They have always found something off about the town. But somethings lie deeper then they ever thought.

"Every move you make, every breath you take someone somewhere is watching," The tramp cackled showing his stained crooked teeth. "Be careful my dear, be very careful. You are not alone." He returned his head back into the wall and shut his eyes.

I now live by one rule: try me. Hi, I'm Krystell. I'm an orphan who would've ended up being one of those thirty year olds that still live with their parents. Not by choice of course, my parents were very over protective. That's why my entire life's been planned for me. For example: I am now being shipped off to my only living relative who I've never met. the joys of being me. Thank goodness for my boyfriend though or I might truly die. ----------- Krystell feels like the less than loser child who would rather be at school then at home, but, when her parents die in a random house fire and she moves in with her aunt, things change. She still feels the same but things are stirring. Crazy dreams, a near death experience, broken hearts, her uncle, and secrets happen mixing everything up. And it will end in war.

A poem that is about being trapped in a place that is supposed to be safe. It has a dystopia feel to it.

I'm temporarily closing this book, reopening it on summer maybe. School's getting hectic these days, I had to focus on those sheets (read it fast haha).
