Giver Stories

This is something I am doing for an English assignment in school. I'm not the best at writing but I do try. Please feel free to give me advice or point out mistakes! this is an assignment that my shool had it's from the book the giver it's my take on how Jonas came to be the way he was and why he was chosen. Rose-Mary was happy that she could finally live a real life. However the Elder has another plan for her and her child.

Have you ever read the Giver? Our 8th grade class was assigned with a homework to rewrite the ending of this book. I didn't like how the book ended since it kind of left you cliff hanging, so I rewrote this ending myself. Hope you enjoy! :)

have you ever wondered what fiona felt when she first found out she was killing people? well, here's the story. with a twist on the original. this story kind of mushed the book story and the movie story together and rewrote them kind of? i don't know. see how you feel about it.

I just watched the movie for the first time and I have read the book, so I thought I would write about it :)

It's been 300 years since the cataclysm. The great apocalypse that ruined the Earth. What it was that caused it no one really remembers anymore. It was in the past. Order and society have risen from the wastelands and cities become built. In the largest city, the city of New Lincoln, stands a symbol of hope. That symbol of hope is the largest clock in existence known as "The Grandfather" it rises above any building, it is plated with silver and gold, it is a symbol of hope that tells the citizens of New Lincoln, with every tick of its hands that time goes on, no matter the catastrophe, no matter what. Meet, Marrow Ackerman, he's in eleventh grade.The students at his school all go to The Grandfather on a special day. It is a day that determines where they will work inside the Grandfather. They must enter a special room, and let the Heartface determine what it is they will do inside the massive clock. The only thing is. Marrow gets a job no ones ever heard of. A job that could lead him to save the world.

After a catastrophe throws their perfect world into chaos, order is forgotten and real feelings start coming back to everyone.
