But something changes as kanae alongside shinobu who are sent to the mission where they will confront with upper rank two turns out different than the original timeline changing the entire spectrum. While giyuu continues forward and trains himself to become stronger,he will also have to navigate through new attachments and decide whether he should keep those attachments or close himself off as always. While forces in the dark will also watch him navigate through his journey.

Giyu was finally enjoying his life demons were gone, he had friends and even looked forward to each day. However, the peaceful live came at an cost all those sacrfices from his comrades and his own life span. He couldn't help but wonder if they could have done something different so all those people didn't have to die. He didn't expect his wish to be granted by a eavesdropping God. However, his new surroundings were both familiar and so foreign at the same time.

Giyuu is recovering in butterfly manor. He tries to leave like he always does, but someone is much more adamant that he stays

"Giyuu-sama!" Aoi's voice broke through the tension, filled with relief as she hurried to Kanao's side, carefully cradling her. "The sun is almost up! We just need to...to..." Her words caught in her throat, her breath hitching as she looked up at Giyuu. He turned to face her, and what she saw made her blood run cold. Giyuu's eyes-once deep, round pools of blue that looked like a calm ocean-were now sharp, vertical slits, glowing with an unnatural light. Aoi's heart pounded in her chest, the realization crashing over her like a wave. The man who had fought so valiantly to protect them, who had refused to give in even when the odds were against him... was now one of them. "No..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "It can't be..." But the truth was undeniable. Giyuu was no longer human. He was a demon. ----- I finally protected someone."
