In an alternate ending where Shinobu Kocho survives the final battle, she and Giyu Tomioka navigate the quiet aftermath of war. This is a story of slow healing, unspoken feelings, and the difficult, often silent, journey of two broken warriors finding solace and building a future together amidst their scars. After the war, only two Hashiras remained. Giyuu, the Water Hashira filled with sorrow for his comrades and a lover, and Sanemi, the Wind Hashira filled with regret for his family and the love of his life. Imagine their shock when they get transported back in time to before Kanae died. Can they work together to save their comrades and rekindle with their lost loves? Giyuu lay dying on his 25th birthday recounting all the good times he spent with his friends before and after the final battle with the demon king and his servants. Yet, as he takes his last breaths and finally finds solace in the life he's lived, he is mysteriously transported back a whole 8 years in the past. Now faced with a second opportunity to correct his mistakes and save the lives of those he felt indebted to, what would he do? -Certain character ages may be changed for the sake of the story (specific birthdays will be explained later). -Manga spoilers (why would anyone read a fanfic about the end of the series if they didn't finish the story)

Gradually, what started as a friendship evolved into a deeper bond, as they both acknowledged the feelings that had quietly blossomed between them, drawing them ever closer as a couple. 💜

One might think there's nothing harder than constant battles with demons. Yet, finding one's place in a world where you no longer have to risk your life every day will not be the simplest task either. How quickly will the former Demon Slayers be able to accept that they can live in a different way? And will it even be possible for them at all? That story is meant to give you a little bit of relief with the upcoming movies, to give our beloved characters a peaceful life. This is technicaly a sequel to my other story but you don't have to read it if you don't want to. Just imagine a world where everyone lived. However some threads will be continued and a lot of familiar events will be mentioned so I still highly recommend to catch up, at least the last chapter. Manga Spoilers obviously but not from the real ending since it's an AU It will take a form of one-shots with continuity (mostly but not always) and I aim to post at least one per week but I'll only write when I feel like it, sometimes more often, sometimes less.
