My own personal poetry stash! Just sharing in hopes people have similar feelings!

"My father died with a frown. My mother died with a smile."

This poem expresses the bittersweet ache of realizing hidden feelings too late. It captures the struggle between heart and mind-liking someone deeply, yet convincing yourself it was "too soon" to matter. Now that he's with someone else, the sadness is sharp, but so is the quiet gladness in seeing him happy. It's a tender reflection on love, loss, and acceptance all at once.
