As a part of the Royal Council, Alexandria Adelaide is used to being surrounded by politicians. That is, until King Regis tells her she must accompany Noctis and his friends on their journey. As they travel, she finds herself making some great discoveries, which involve discovering herself and a new perspective of the world around her, as she finds many things in her life come naturally, including unexpected love.

"You used to let me help..." He starts "Why did you stop?" "Because I know nothing will help." I say "The only thing to stop them is to not sleep." "That's taking a toll on your body. We can all see it." He says "You're not going to last in a fight." "I'll be fine. I did it after Insomnia was attacked." I hiss "I can do it again to keep Noct safe." "You are not doing this again! I saw what it caused!" He yells "You can't stop me Ignis." I snap, throwing out my arm the scars showing "Just like you couldn't stop this." He takes a step back, looking at the ground, then looks back at me, a hard glare on his face. "You didn't let me come with you." He argues back "Since when has that stopped you from doing anything? Because I'm pretty sure I remember you telling me that you would never hide anything from me. Yet you hid the knowledge of me being the Healer from me!" I yell "That was for your safety!" He argues "I don't need constant protecting Ignis." I say "I know how to protect myself."
