I swallowed over the lump, then blinked hard. It had been such a long day, and I was so, so tired. I wished I could just leave, dissapear inside, but there was always something else required, a way to get away from here. Thinking of this, I looked up at the sky, cold and clear overhead, and took a breath. One, I thought, finding the Big Dipper as tears prickled my eyes. Two, and I swallowed again, trying to calm myself as I spotted Cassiopeia. I was searching for a third when I felt myself starting to shake, desperate to find something familiar up there, somewhere. It was so cold, looking through my blurry gaze, but then, suddenly, I felt Jake slide his arm around my shoulders. He was warm and close, and at the same moment I realized this, I spotted the outline of Orion. Three, I thought, then resting my head against him, closing my eyes.

Her glasses can provide her the ability to read people's thoughts. Her glasses can see what everyone is thinking. Her glasses can read people's problems, answers, and everyday life. Her glasses can block people's ugly lies and her glasses can embrace the truth. Soon enough, she's getting all the answers right in math class, has the ability to see a glimpse of people's lives, and know when people are lying. She thinks these glasses are great. Unfortunately not.
