But maybe her earlier fears were true... ******** This short story was the first one I completed and after much hesitation I'm publishing it on Wattpad. It is just a modified version of the world famous fairy tale, Cinderella. It portrays the same story from the point of view of Lady Tremaine - the evil stepmother of Cinderella.

The story of Cinderella is so well known, but what if her story was told from the most important character of them all. The shoe. Yes, you read right. This is a short story about the shoe that is left behind when Cinderella runs away, and the shoe is not very happy about being left behind.

But when the clock strikes twelve, I let go of Prince Charming because that's what supposed to happen. I have to let go of my happy ever after.
