The Mane Six and Colt Six's quest for the fallen stars of a missing constellation puts them on a collision course with their most galactic adversary yet.

Princess Celestia, Prince Solaris, Prince Artemis and Princess Luna decide to retire and hand off the ruling of Equestria to Twilight, Dusk and their friends. Meanwhile, the ancient villain Grogar bands together a legion of villains to conquer Equestria, but King Sombra and Queen Oscura has plans of their own and once they succeed Twilight, Dusk and the rest of the Mane and Colt Six struggle to come to terms with the destruction of the Tree of Harmony and the Elements, while King Sombra and Queen Oscura sets their sights to conquering all of Equestria.

When word gets out the Royal Family's biggest secret they along with Twilight Velvet and Nightlight are forced to travel all across Equestria to keep the media off their hooves

Twilight, Dusk and their friends prepare for the Celestia and Solaris Gifted School of Unicorns reunion which make Twilight and Dusk feel uneasy, meanwhile the Crystal Guards find two mysterious ponies in the frozen north and brings them to the Crystal Empire Set after the MLP Movie And Forgotten Friendship

Twilight, Dusk, Gleaming Shield and Shining Armor pit their wits against each other to settle a long-standing sibling rivalry, but they soon discover they are not the only competitors.
