This is a glee fanfic. ( Based on season 4) You are playing the role of James Abrams, the new boy, who is actually Artie's younger brother. "Hang with the new chumps and see if some of our sheer awesomeness doesn't rub off on you." He said. "It will." Mike smirked, high-fiving his friend as Finn smiled. The glee kids first noticed she was not herself when she was quiet in the last month before summer vacation. Then there was the fact she didn't contact ANYONE during summer vacation and updated her Instagram profile with pictures of the beach and museums. Then the worst happened (to them anyway): Rachel Berry came back to school with her new boyfriend, Jesse St. James, with his arm around her small shoulders. Jesse seemed to be very protective of Rachel and Rachel seemed to flinch if any of the glee kids tried to touch her. Then, there was the songs she sang. First she started singing Pink, then Kesha, then Katy Perry, and now she sang Avril Lavigne. All had swears, talked about one of the glee kids, or made her plain bad-ass. Was Rachel Berry gone and if so...did Jesse St. James have anything to do with it?

"Oh, no!" Piper shook her head as soon as she spotted JBI as she walked with Mercedes down the hallway. Grabbing her best friend by the arm, she tried to make a turn and walk the other way, but Jacob spotted them anyway and rushed after them with his microphone and cameraman behind him. "Oh, come on..." "PIper Snow!" JBI said, as Piper rolled her eyes and Mercedes started to walk a bit faster to try and lose the kid. "Rumors have been going around the school that this summer you didn't have to be locked away for your eating problems despite your fainting last year and some say that it is because you finally managed to get into Quinn Fabray's pants after two whole years of pining after her." "Get lost, Jacob." Mercedes spoke up, trying to come up in Piper's defense, which only caused Jacob to press her further. "So it is true? Are you and Miss Fabray a thing now?" He asked. Emily still didn't particularly like Jacob Israel - she wasn't sure anyone actually did by this point -, but for the first time, she didn't feel the need to hide from him. After all, she had everything she could possibly want and that was definitely going to be Emily Marshall's year. "Twitter says you are still dating Hobo McBieber." Jacob said, as he struggled to keep up with Emily as the girl walked down the hallways. People stepped away from her as she passed - parting like the Red Sea for the most popular girl at school - but none of them actually cared enough not to bump into Jacob. And it wasn't as if Emily was about to say anything about it. "Yes, I am." She nodded, a smile on her lips as Jacob still struggled to walk beside her. "And you are the head cheerio now, part of two of the most popular clubs in McKinley with two National Championships from last year and officially dating a football player." Mike felt good. Sure, everything was new and big and scary and he missed home. He missed Lima, he missed his parents, he missed school, he missed the glee club, he missed... God, he missed Tina. Maybe he should call her, but then... If they talked everyday, neither of them would ever be able to move on, and that hadn't been the deal. They had promised to let go. They had had a great time together, but, this year, it was about the two of them - not as a couple, as it had been for the past two years, but individually.
