Marlowe Odair had been training her whole life to be in the Hunger Games. But she had seen what they had done to her brother, Finnick, and she wanted no part of that. But when the 74th Hunger Games comes around and she finds herself in the Games, Marlowe finds herself in a desperate situation when the other Careers reject her and her District partner for being 'too young and not strong enough'. What she didn't know, was that showing Peeta Mellark how to tie a simple knot, would lead to them playing fake lovers, to faking an engagement and a pregnancy, and would then lead to them leading a revolution.

Growing up in District 1 is easy, isn't it? You get trained for the arena, and you get a choice wether you enter it or not. Athena Belcourt wasn't given that choice. The District decided she had to volunteer for the 74th Games while her older sister Glimmer went to the 73rd. But Athena wanted to go first, she volunteered at the 73rd reaping, along with her "Best Friend", Achilles Sonhart. They both want the other to survive, but which one will make it out?

Hali Palmer is from District Four, and competing in the Games was not on her bucket list. After being chosen for the Capitol with the last boy she wanted, Hali has to prepare for a fight to the death. Dealing with the irritating boy who she came here with, and their complicated past, as well as a new flame that could not come in a worse circumstance, all while being shown off to the entirety of Panem might just be too much for her to handle.
