Salantina has spent the last few years of her life competitively swimming and after her cousin died it was the only thing she could do to escape her thoughts. That is until she is bitten by a mysterious fish at a stream that leaves her with a mark. Her once quiet life gets turned upside down when her neighbor gives her a warning but she can't figure out what she needs to be wary of. Strange things start happening and it's not long until Salantina needs to explore old legends to understand why she is changing. Fynn, the new boy from school, just might have the answers but is he willing to share?

But when Willa kills his Commander and Fifth deserts his unit, their survival depends on trusting one another. And their ability to work together might be the only hope to restore joy to all of humanity.

Jade, along with other technologically advanced citizens, live in a giant dome underwater to protect them from pollution, nuclear waste, and other harmful things that lie in the ocean above. When Jade's perfect life is turned upside down, she has to face the dangers of the world that she had only heard about from the safety of The Dome. What would happen is global warming happened? More I'm portably what would happen if four idiots ended up banding together in one day? Two quick notes! 1) This is the first story that I've made that I feel some what happy with. 2) I'll be focusing more on once character more than the other and referring to them by their classification.

What did the stars think of the creation of humanity? A short story of fourteen billion years.

This is a short science fiction story dealing with topics that are a reality today: Global Warming and Climate Change. And it attempts to explain our lethargy towards tackling these issues, and how we can innovate to reduce carbon footprint. In short, It is my way to express my modest rebellion ( if there is anything modest about rebellion ) against our silence and inaction towards Climate Change and Global Warming. It also shows how our politicians, policy makers are busy gilding refined gold, painting a beautiful lily, throwing perfume on the rose, without realising these are nothing but an utterly wasteful and ridiculous excess. Where the purpose of the act is rendered so petty by the fact that it is an unwanted and untimely remedy, where nothing can be done now by human intervention, and only a miracle can save us or turn the odds in our favour.

In the year 2045, climate change is killing people. Fifteen-year old Lily Star must use her power over water to save her family and thousands of refugees from dying of thirst in the parched American West. Even though Lily's a powerful Diviner, and can call water from Everspring, the family's only source, they must ration every drop to stay alive. The U.S. has split into two unfriendly factions, the United Western Republic and the Eastern Alliance. When the Republic's Minister of Water, Tanner Voles, discovers that Lily has the power that he's been seeking, he pressures her to use it for his own political gain and the benefit of the water-hungry Capitol. But Lily and her family refuse, suspecting that Voles will exploit her to get the water for the Republic and then kill her so nobody else can use her power. To gain control over her, he forces the family to Floater Camp 65, a broiling wasteland filled with thousands of Floaters, the homeless refugees of rising oceans and forest fires. There Lily befriends Nate Arnett and 1Planet, an underground resistance group of kids who fight the government and give their generation hope for the future.
