When an old wizard and 13 dwarves show up at Bilbo Baggins' door, his adoptive sister, Elvira Raegon, jumps at the chance to help them on their adventure. Elvira joins some old friends and a company of dwarves on their quest to reclaim Erebor. She makes lifelong friends, makes lots of memories, encounters lots of hardships and a lot of Orcs, but most importantly, she falls in love. All rights reserved to JRR Tolkien. after their home is destroyed suddenly by an evil drake from the south the dwarfs of erabor are flung into a terrible quest led to reclaim their land led by thorin oakenshield, followed by 13 faithful dwarfs, a single little hobbit, and one very anoyed wizard. Will they reclaim their home or continue to be the bane of the elves and humans?

Even in a world filled with magic, there are some things you just can't fix. No matter how hard you try, or how much you want to and wish, it just can't be fixed. Coughing Fever was one of those things. It was a savage illness, causing a chronic and incurable cough, a high fever, and shaking are just a few of the symptoms. Coughing Fever was one of those illnesses that not even the mighty and knowledgeable elves could cure. There were things that could alleviate the symptoms, of course, but only temporarily. But Briar Baggins-Butcher didn't let the fact that she was plagued by this incurable illness bother her. She lived her life as best she could, hidden away by her family so she wouldn't make her illness worse, she never had many friends, but one. Briar's best friend in the whole world was her cousin, Bilbo Baggins. He was the one person who her parents would always let her see. She adored her cousin and enjoyed spending time with him at Bag End. Bilbo was her best friend, of that she had not one single doubt. But Bilbo had his shortcomings like all people do. His was that he never wanted to wander away for a while, he never longed for adventures. There was nothing that Briar wanted more. She wanted to see the world, she wanted to see the farthest corners of Middle Earth. Her parents would never allow that, of course... It was too risky, with her Coughing Fever and all. She could get herself into some real problems if she were to reach a low point and there was no one to come to her aid. [super hiatus: I have lost inspiration for this, but i'm leaving it up for now. i have been reading over it and there are too many inconsistansies and typos. read if you'd like lol XD] Phêtra is a Black-hammer dwarf [black dwarves] from the island Tolfolas. when she turned down every suitor that crossed her path her parents send her to Ered Luin along with her Raven Törig in hopes of her finding Her One, while she only wished to officially start her life and gain a bit of freedom. Little did she know that her hopes of a free life would be hijacked by the honest affections of a toy-maker and the overwhelming advances of a mountain king. With every turn it seemed that she would never find a solution for her heart when a Quest to slay the dragon, reclaim her father's homeland, and a chance to constantly be around both seemed like a blessing and a curse, but maybe her choice would show itself when tried by fire. Bofur/Oc, Thorin/Oc, Oc/Oc [in the begining and random times in the story.]

Curious she finds herself becoming attached to the elk not knowing that ever time she's there that she is being watched by someone... that she has caught the eye of that someone... But not just anyone: Thranduil Orophorion, Prince and future king of Mirkwood. They never talk until one day, when she is captured along with her company of dwarves, on request of the Grey wizard himself, and sets eyes on him for the first time though it is not his first time gazing upon her. Will she fall for the Elvenking and stay with him? Or will she break his already broken heart? A/N: Dilynrae is quite older than Thranduil. If you have read the Silmarillion then you'll know the first few chapters will consist of events that took place there. For those of you who have not read it, a brief description is shit went down. Dilynrae's father is still alive, and the characters of the Silmarillion are still active in Arda. Men have not made an appearance as of yet... I don't think but yeah. The first few chapters will be an account of her life in Arda BEFORE she meets Thranduil's elk and BEFORE she starts her journey with the dwarves AND BEFORE she actual meets Thranduil. Just thought I should tell you before some people go 'where the fuck is bae? What is this girl on?'.
