As he seeks the cause of the misery, he finds out the reality is darker than he thought it could be; the possible solution he discovers is just another leap of faith. Will Bernard be able to handle all that? This story is a plunge into an abyss of gloom and bleakness rather than an amble through a usual, cheerful and hallmark Christmas tale.

He surprises her with an offer - to learn how to be a monk and to join them on the other side of the wall where no gnome has ever gone.

What started off as a one off joke in a D&D campaign has spiraled into a fully fledged novel, Shades of Gnome is the tale of Gnomey the Gnome, a self important and egotistical gnome who gets thrown out of his comfortable life and into a world of danger when he's framed for crimes he never committed.

What turns out to be a simple beginning with a young journalist standing in front of a large gate turns out to be the start of a very complicated journey. From staying in a shack, to getting sucked in by a supermassive black hole and to unravelling mysteries that are yet to be solved. This story is sure to make you sit on the edge of your seat and make you want to read more.
