Long ago, there was a village of vikings on a small island known as Berk, which suffered weekly, sometimes even nightly raids from fire breathing dragons. However the chief's wife, Valka, believed peace was possible between the Vikings and Dragons but no one believed her. During a terrible raid, she was taken by a dragon that showed signs of kindness. However she wasn't the only one taken since she grabbed her infant, Hiccup Haddock the Third, to keep him away from a fire started by the dragon who was startled by her husband. Unfortunately she couldn't grab her other son, a toddler, in time and he was left behind with his father. Over the years, the boy grew up hating dragons and counted down the days until he could join the warriors in battle, defending his village and avenging his brother and mother. However his father always kept him inside the forge during raids in fear of losing the only family he had left. There, the boy became a bit of an inventor as well as a decent blacksmith. However all of that changed when one night, using one of his inventions, he shot down the most dangerous and mysterious dragon in the entire Archipelago. The Night Fury...

Hiccup couldn't do it anymore. He couldn't stand the constant bullying and disappointment and hate from his village and father. So one day, after befriending a dragon and gaining his trust, Hiccup leaves Berk for a better life with his dragon. He left some blood from an animal and put some of his own blood in the mix to make it seem more real. Hiccup makes a place of his own to call home and changes his name. The human comes across a tribe that was like no other, and after gaining their trust, he soon becomes one of their own. But all good things must come to an end at some point. They were careful, and they always took precautions. But when Astrid starts feeling sick, they fear they may have just begun one of the biggest parts of their lives... out of wedlock. I'm sorry, but this is on hiatus. I've lost inspiration and motivation. I might continue, I most likely might not. Almost everybody has a soulmate, but you can only tell if you met your soulmate twice, once in dragon form and once as a human. You would get your dragon form at the age of 13. The wings of your dragon has not fully formed until both sides have their dragon form.

This story is the of the kids of New Berk. Including Y/N Haddock and her siblings. She's always been more introverted than your average viking girl, her older sister, Zephyr, hates dragons, on the other hand, y/n here loves them. She wants to be like her parents, dragon trainers, or at least have a dragon friend.

Hiccup has always wanted to be acknowledged by the village for the Viking he could never be. Though he was not alone as the village misfit, there was one other who also was ignored by the rest.
