You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.

How To Train Your Dragon X Readers and One-shots

Before all of been had trusted Dragons there was a boy training one. What would happen if all these characters watched HTTYD 2?

Characters watch Httyd and all of the TV series etc. I am changing the plot so that Hiccstrid does not happen. I ship it but Hiccup is in love with an OC of mine so the actual plot is a little different. I don't own any of the characters except a few that shall be named. I don't own any of the pictures used unless I tell you otherwise. I only own the OCs and their dragons.

Hiccup has loved Astrid for as long as he could remember and believes the only way for her to love him is, if he captures and kills a night fury. When he finally captures a night fury there is a change of plans, as he's been placed first in dragon training he plans to flee the village but gets caught and everything changes. Astrid who has always had a crush on Hiccup gets worried when she overhears a conversation the village was having about him, and decides to try and find him in the woods but instead discovers a big secret he hides. "Toothless! Dinner." Hiccup calls as he mixes the tuna with steak chunks. A small black cat appears from the corner loudly meowing in agreement. "Here you go bud, it's your favorite." Hiccup smiles as he sets down the small dish.

Thus is how her clan became such warriors, they never trusted anything or anyone outside of their clan. When Morgan was a little girl, about the age of 9, her village was attacked by Monstrous Nightmares, and was set a blaze. Somehow she survived and escaped the flames. She has been alone for 2 years, and semi-alone for 8 years. One day, while flying high in the sky on her NightFury Star Struck, was attacked and shot down by dragon hunters. The island she lands on is already a home to Dragon Riders. This group belongs to Berk, the place that now protects every and all dragons. Can Morgan trust them? Will she find them to be good friends, or will she find one to be more than "just a friend"? Eventually they "find" a hidden island and uncover certain secrets that are... unsettling. Morgan tries to hide things that could be potentially dangerous and possibly put her new found friends in harms way. Will she be able to hide these secrets for ever?
