Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway! One event, one simple, small event can have such a drastic effect on everything. One minute, infinitesimal alteration can drastically change everything. One night, Berk is being raided by dragons, again, as usual. Sheep being stolen away, buildings being destroyed, the whole mess. The chief's son, Hiccup Haddock III, wants to finally prove himself. No, he can't lift an axe or swing a sword, but he's built a weapon that can shoot a bola long distance. Hiccup planned to shoot down a dragon. His sights are set upon the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself. Hiccup shoots, and, or course, he misses.

When Hiccup's final test in the Kill Ring does not go as planned, he runs away, sure that nothing he can ever say will change Berk's mind. At least he's not alone though, and with his cousins and several dragons by his side, they leave the archipelago. Of course, not all is smooth sailing and Hiccup's emergence as the Dragon Master earns him more than one enemy. Eventually, it also draws the attention of Berk, who are suffering from increased raids and struggling to survive. Desperate, they reach out to him for help, but will he deem them worthy and willing to change their ways? I don't own How to Train Your Dragon or its characters, just my OCs.

As the name implies, this book will be a collection of oneshots based around the How To Train Your Dragon series! These will mainly be "What If" scenarios, and stories that deviate from canon, but I will definitely be writing some canon compliant stories!! I wrote this (Score #1) listening to "Two New Alphas" from the HTTYD 2 scores composed by John Powell. It might give the story greater personal depth if you listen to it as you read! :) This is just a short drabble that was inspired by the song. Hiccup, two weeks after the events of httyd 3, wonders the Forrest of new berk where he stumbles upon a cave with odd runes inside. Taking a risk he places his hand upon them and closes his eyes. Upon opening them he is once again standing infront of the nightmare, the day he shot down toothless, not only that the runes gave him knowledge such as how to speak the language of the dragons, how to give people there memory's of the future and now paired with his own knowledge of the future, can he change the past so dragons and Viking's can live to be free again.
