Apathetic Yogiri and passionate Izanami hope to find a way home with fellow classmate Tomochika, though both their powers alarm/amaze her. The Sage named Sion, who brought Yogiri Takatou and Izanami Chuichi's school bus to another planet demonstrates to the children how terrible both the world and he are by murdering the adults for trivial reasons and instructing them to become chosen sages in order to battle demons.
