"Who the fuck do you think you're talking to, huh?" His voice came out low, threatening. A chuckle escaped Auroras lips as she shook her head. "You don't know?," she started as she pushed him off. "A coward. A rich mommy loving coward. A fucking jerk. A man whore. Where do you want me to continue?" She asked him calmly not letting his betrayal hit her in any way. His smirk dropped as he turned away. "Out. Now." He started walking up his stairs not even looking at her. "You can't live with the truth? I couldn't live without you and yet you don't seem to care, I wonder why's that, Rome?" She spoke so quickly so many emotions filling her that she didn't notice his old nickname slipping from her chapped lips. Romans eyes widened, 'Rome, I love you...' The voice echoed in his head making him squeeze his eyes shut not wanting to feel. He just wanted it all to stop.

Liurnia's downfall was inevitable. Though no one knew, the gods harbored a plan. They gifted the people the Elden Rings and created demigods to protect and inherit them. It was only a matter of time before man and demon would seek to corrupt them, and the gods knew very well of the greed and hatred of man. Their gifts were the tools to Liurnia's destruction, and The Eternal Queen Marika would be their arbitor. Hey there! This is basically a cohesive telling of Elden Ring's confusingly complex lore. I wanted to understand the characters, their backstories, and how The Shattering came to be. However, I've found that it doesn't really exist in story format quite yet, so I wanted to take a stab at it. Note: I'm not an expert on Elden Ring lore by any means and it can be *quite* expansive and hotly debated lol I'm simply writing from what I've interpreted and how it all comes together in my notes. (Also, if it makes for a good story, I'll sacrifice some accuracy here and there). Enjoy, and please let me know how I'm doing!
