"Heaven is fallen. God is dead. And Hell now reigns."
There was once a time when the skies were filled with light, and prayers echoed across the realms. A time when angels stood guard over the mortal world, and humanity had the choice to believe-whether in hope, in goodness, or in salvation. But that age has ended.
After millennia of unseen war in the heavens, the unthinkable came to pass: the Light was extinguished. God-the architect of all creation-fell, and His angels perished in a final battle that shook the fabric of reality. What remained of divinity was shattered, buried beneath the ashes of celestial war.
The one who now sits upon the Forgotten Throne is not a savior, but a herald of judgment-Vassago, the Black Herald of Hell. Sent to Earth as a messenger of dominion, he came with a command: "Stop your wars. End your division. You have two years to prove your worth."
But the world did not listen.
The time passed, and so did a third of humanity-dead in an instant by divine damnation. Nuclear retaliation shattered the Earth's crust. Nations vanished in radioactive silence. The survivors-those spared by fate or curse-were not left whole. They were marked, watched, and bent into a new order.
Now, centuries later, a broken Earth has forgotten the wars, the gods, the glory. Humanity exists beneath Hell's quiet gaze-obedient, subdued, and hopeless. But in the shadows, whispers return. Fragments of light stir beneath the ashes. And in ruins untouched by time, secrets long buried begin to awaken.
This is the story of what came after Heaven's fall.
This is the age of silence, rebellion, and revelation.
This is The Forgotten Throne.
