Lights turned off are no longer lights. Darkness consumes and corrupts the once human soul. Once a soul is corrupted, there is no saving it. The only thing to heal the scorching pain that is forever lasting is to be slain. The only well-known gods that have slain these horrors are the Yato God and Lady Bishamon. So what happens when a new and deadly god of calamity arises?

Yaboku is a god of Calamity, a god that will fulfill any wish, even killing someone. However, he no longer goes by that name and isn't willing to kill people anymore, he now goes by Yato, with his Regalia Yukine and his half phantom friend, Hiyori. Yato no longer wants to be a god of calamity, he just wants to be a normal god with a shrine, like he's always wanted, but when another god of Calamity from his past comes into the picture, what will he do? Will he go back to his old ways? We'll see. I DO NOT OWN NORAGAMI!!! So the characters (other than (Y/N) are not mine! The story however, is based after the events of Noragami and Noragami Aragoto, so the story is completely mine. Centuries ago,when the infamous Yato was known as the "God of Calamity". Yato came across a beautiful woman who in Nora's mind began to " poison" Yato's outlook on mankind. There he ultimately falls in love with the woman,but a certain chain of events happen and she is lost to him. Enraged Yato vows to never again fall in love,but unknown to him the woman he loved is reincarnated into not a human...but a Celestial Being. How will Yato react to the sudden reunion with his past lover? And will their past come back to haunt them?

So this is a Yato x reader story. I had a dream and from that dream this story was born. Not much else to explain. I'm sorry if Nora is a little meaner than she is in the anime. I just needed a villain.
