The Potters were out of the monster's sight, safe and sound in Godric's Hollow. Cradling their newborn child while humming a peaceful lullaby to calm him down. Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plans. The infamous Voldemort tracked the family down and murdered James and Lily, leaving the newborn child freezing in the midnight breeze.
