We're in the year 1909, Albus and Gellert left Godric's Hollow together after the three-way duel and have built themselves a life together. Today Albus is the minister of magic in England, Gellert in Germany. Together they live in Nurmengard and their next goal is to make Albus the Surpreme Mugwump, Leader of the International Confederation of Wizards. As such they could finally be able to make their dream of an open world, wizards and muggles side by side, a reality. Perhaps they might even succeed in finding all of the Deathly Hallows? Surely there will be difficulties they will have to face along their way to a new world. The day that changed everything. The course of history. One duel, one death. But how did it happen? How could it come to that? I tried to do it after all of the information we got so far and connect them, find a way how they could all work together. However I still changed some parts that didn't make much sense in the bigger plotline of the duel. Sorry for my bad English, it just didn't sound good in German.

How did James and Lily draw their last breaths and think their last thoughts? - A detaild account of this terrible night, when Harry was cursed by Voldemort, just to be saved by his mother's love. ~o~ This onshot is at the same time the prologue of a much longer story which I am currently finishing and plan on publishing at a later stage online.
