Liurnia's downfall was inevitable. Though no one knew, the gods harbored a plan. They gifted the people the Elden Rings and created demigods to protect and inherit them. It was only a matter of time before man and demon would seek to corrupt them, and the gods knew very well of the greed and hatred of man. Their gifts were the tools to Liurnia's destruction, and The Eternal Queen Marika would be their arbitor. Hey there! This is basically a cohesive telling of Elden Ring's confusingly complex lore. I wanted to understand the characters, their backstories, and how The Shattering came to be. However, I've found that it doesn't really exist in story format quite yet, so I wanted to take a stab at it. Note: I'm not an expert on Elden Ring lore by any means and it can be *quite* expansive and hotly debated lol I'm simply writing from what I've interpreted and how it all comes together in my notes. (Also, if it makes for a good story, I'll sacrifice some accuracy here and there). Enjoy, and please let me know how I'm doing!

Heavily drawing upon alchemy to fill in the lore, this Elden Ring Fanfiction takes the viewpoints of the mightiest demigods to explore one possibility of many for how the events of the Shattering could have transpired.

Reincarnation, the idea that a soul is granted a second life, and is reborn in a physical body. It was a concept I enjoyed reading about, and seeing the way different people utilized it to create interesting stories. That's all it was-an interest. Of course, there were times when I jokingly wished to be reincarnated, but it was a simple jest. So with that being said, can anyone tell me... why in God's name was I reincarnated into Elden Ring of all worlds, into fucking Morgott, of all people! Like, seriously?! Well... at least I know what the future entails, even if said future is complete and utter dogshit, and I also happen to have a gamer system, so all's well that ends well, right... right?
