goggles doesn't care anymore. he just wants to be dead so that nobody can hurt him anymore. so that he doesn't have to live with his deadbeat mother, who keeps doing drugs, and getting new boyfriends who don't even know his name. so he can reunite with his father in whatever afterlife exists or just be dead. rider is tired of this. he's tired of being the golden child who has to be perfect at everything and anything. he's tired of being worthless if he's not perfect. he's tired of being the grumpy kid at the back of the class who never gets noticed. he just wants somebody, something that means something. what happens when rider starts noticing something off about goggles, and goggles starts noticing rider?

Rider has always been an Introvert. Never really has been ever to talk to others, doesn't really plan to anytime soon. He isn't the easiest to work with, but he pretty much makes that up for his power. While choosing power greatly over communication isn't the best idea, especially in the type of battles inklings play in, it seems to work for Rider. Deep inside though, he hates being lonely. Not being able to talk to others without having that bad, terrified feeling that they'll be mad or what they say will not help is situation. That's until he meets a fellow extrovert in a turf war. Of course being on opposite teams means they have they splat each other without regret, but this Extrovert acted different than the others. He seemed more... Lively. More... Understanding than the others. Rider always felt a pang of guilt whenever he splatted the other. After a few battles of them playing against each other, he suddenly had the courage to talk to him. So, he walks up to him after their last battle and did something he hasn't done in years. "Hi, I'm Rider... What's your name?" Warning: YAOI AAAAAAAA (I should stop before I lose myself lol) If you don't like Yaoi, then I suggest reading something else or leave the comment "Ha! G A Y!" Have fun! goggles; an optimistic idiot who truly believes anything can be accomplished with the power of friendship. rider; a hot-headed loner but also a kinky bastard feeling strong urges to do some funky shit with goggles. prince; goggles' new boyfriend? when goggles and prince start dating suddenly, rider's pride slipped.

When the inklings drift away for a few years, how different do they become. Have the bonds gone away or weakened or are they the same? When they all see each other they lose a few people and gain a few more. Rider is surprised by how mature Goggles has become. He still has a few dumb moments but for the most part is pretty smart. He cant help but fall for him.

Goggles and Rider had been 'friends' since first grade... Or that's what he would have liked to think. Goggles had always acted nice to Rider, the only one in the school he wasn't able to make smile, but he was determined to do so. When he saw Rider years later, ranked S+ and highly regarded, he didn't remember him, from school all those years ago, but from consistent nightmares he had been having for over a month now. He had seen Rider dead, how can he act 'normal' around him? Can he confide into Rider about his dreams? What if he thought he was a freak who wanted him dead?! That couldn't be farther from the truth that Goggles has hidden in the depths of his mind. Rider remembered that blue squid from grade school. Goggles. The one who never stopped smiling, the one who never left him alone. The one who was always bothering him with small things. The one who, for some reason, had a habit of showing up to class wearing nothing even though he is constantly reminded. Of course Rider remembers him. Seeing him years later with a pathetic, stupid team is just as he expected of the blue idiot. But then why, for some reason, was he able to beat Rider at turf war? Was it because Goggles was better friends with his team? Did he need to know his team better to co-operate with them? Goggles is the only one who can make Rider smile out of genuine joy. Of course, Rider couldn't let anyone know that. It would destroy his reputation if anyone knew he liked the adorable blue idiot. Cover Art is not mine.
