A Dragon Ball fan story, asking the question, what if Gohan was always meant to surpass Goku? A slow burn, but I'll try not to drag it out too much.

Aftet what transpired on Beerus's planet, Goku and Vegeta resume their training in order to prepare themselfs to face Frieza again one day, however during their training, Earth is misteriously destroyed by a unknown force, both Saiyans end up being caught in the explosion, but they didn't die, in fact, they were caught by a portal and transported into another universe on a world called "Remnant", a world that is like Earth yet different, now Goku and Vegeta must find out who destroyed Earth, and stop it's plans before they're completed. (This take places after DBS Manga Chapter 103, however, the DBS Timeline is a mix of both Manga and Anime). (In memory of both Akira Toriyama and Monty Oum, may they both rest in peace).

I'm Jay Jay. Daughter of the one and only Son Goku. We are a quite dysfunctional family (mainly because of me) but we are still family. And this is my life story. I've really been into rewatching the Dragon Ball series this quarentine. 😁 Some of the events are similar to the anime, but I'm changing a few things like the age gap between Gohan and Goten and how old they were when some of the events happened or the order they happened 😁 I hope you enjoy!
