That day on the Going Merry was excellent. There were no run-ins with marines or rival pirates, and no wacky, surprising weather. With no land in sight, the crew relaxed. They were not prepared when the next day also came with a miniature version of their swordsman. No one had any idea on what to do - especially since their now-tiny nakama seems afraid of them, contrary to amnesia, or so it seems. The jumpy, shy kid is nothing like what they're used to, and worry sets them off course helter-skelter. How will the beloved swordsman turn back into his normal self, if he even can be put back together? When they aren't left alone in a time of need, how can the child protect and help them, when he can't even protect himself? The swordsman's past is unraveled bit by bit, and all the Straw Hats can do is think, 'What happened to Zoro?' _---_ This is a story with a plot, but will have drabble-y one-shots in it. So even when the plot is resolved, the book will still be updated as a drabble fic. I do not own One Piece, but I do own the OCs that pop up.

Maria Sands wasn't sure what her dream was. She lived in some small tourist village where every store catered to its visitors, charging the highest price for the smallest thing. She helped her father with his small bar by the beach. It wasn't too bad, especially being by the docs. To see visitors of every shape and background, to hear their stories. Her favorite, despite her fathers disapproval was the ones of pirates. Not the ones who pillage and destroy, but the ones who are kind and truly free. Who live life for their next adventure.

Shanks didn't want his child to be hurt but he's Child y/n went in to danger everyday and one day fell off board and drifted away at the age of 13. She got pulled away by the water and landed on a pirate filled island luckily being personally trained from red hair shanks himself she was easily able to kill yes kill every pirate while keeping her identity hidden. With a total of 83 kills all having a bounty that's at least 1 million berry's y/n was able to take care of herself earning the name the silent assassin. ( she also got a devil fruit power in there )
