A short story in when a suicidal question turns into the moment she needed to keep surviving. All she needs is directions, but he sees through her act. He used to be in her same spot, so he's determined to show her she should stay. ~-~-~- Trigger Warning ::: suicide, a past-suicidal teenager and a girl on her way. Please don't read this story if this bothers you. ~-~-~- Also, I didn't know anything about the Golden Gate Bridge before this book. By the time I had written it, I realized a few of my sayings are wrong. As it isn't actually illegal but whatever, sorry about that and such. A story of events leading up to what "should" have been my last day alive. There was hope. I just couldn't see it. I was completely blinded by my pain. I saw no other way out. I want people to understand hoe it feels to have a mental illness, to understand how it feels to believe without a doubt that you have to die. This is my story of my greatest attempt. By the time I was fourteen I started having dreams and expectations and asked myself 'what if it got better?'. Maybe this was the reason why I was standing on top of this bridge, ready to fall, swinging my arms up in the air as if they were wings. As if I was an angel ready to fall and fly away. Maybe those were all the thoughts that ran through my mind. Or maybe they weren't. And here it was... I was closing my eyes and swinging a little in the hope that i'd fall soon. Painless, emotionless, just like flying. Wait... what's that? It's in my back... Is that a fist? That was the last thought that ran through my mind before I was pulled backwards to the safe side, to life. ~ 28 year-old Nolan Fisher has never been one to enjoy life particularly, so when the last chance he had given life gets lost, he climbs on top of the Golden Gate Bridge, ready to jump, when suddenly, a fist grabs onto his shirt and brings him back to the safe side of the bridge. How have the past two months shaped you? A short story

A girl that is a journalist/reporter for the building of the Golden Gate Bridge, her fiance dies in the incident of the 12 workers dying in 1937, 1 week after there wedding. The only way to carry on his memory is to write about the Golden Gate Bridge.
