"An Aegis is a Biped demon despite not having a functioning bile sac, the creature assists its owner in spells as a palisman would. It also works as a conscious supporting witches in their endeavors with advice, though this characteristic came to obscure as witches modernized. An Aegis became more of a companion than a conscious, sharing the precise personality of their counterpart instead of the usual opposite. Demons have been demonstrated not to occupy an Aegis unless they possess extreme strength, intentional or not. This has ignited many controversies about whether the titan used to have one of its own, some even theorize that's what led it to its downfall-" I lick my finger, turning a few pages.
