When I was born, my Fate Pendant, the thing that held my future, was silver instead of gold. I should have known then that I would be different. Special. Set apart. But I thought I was going to spend my life as an assassin for the Shadow Army, which rules over Aharia, trying to stamp out the feeble resistance known as the Golden Warriors. After all, that was what Fate had decreed for me. But being forced to spy on the Golden Warriors opened up my mind to something more than the pull of Fate. I learned the power of silver.
