A fictional story based off of the gold rush in northern Canada. It is about a girl and her best friend I will most likely not be making a sequel. I hope you like it enjoy (:

Y/N L/N is on her way West, towards California-- the "golden land", as it's come to be known. The only things that set her apart from the scores of others heading the same way are her gender (which she's hidden for the purpose of finding a wagon train to hire her on) and the fact that she's not as much running towards as running from. She thinks she's got her problems worked out by heading west, but the arrival of one boy just as they're about to leave, and his subsequent joinment to their caravan, mean they're just getting started...

The year is 1892. The two most wanted criminals and California have just stolen a sack full of gold from the San Francisco mint. As the lovebird thieves end their heist, they stumble upon a desert paradise. This is the place. The place that could stop them from running. Two generations of the Mary Family and only a cart of coins to keep them connected. One mistake, and their legacy dies before their eyes. This is based off of the $10 million dollars worth of golden coins found in California. It is a pretty interesting story if you want to look into it.

If it was left up to her, Addison Diamond wouldn't have been attending high school at all. Sylvia is married to a wealthy English huntsman named Allan White. She has a very unhappy life, and is often mistreated by her husband. Around this time, word starts to reach the town about tonnes of gold found in the Klondike River in the North.
