When the Valar brought Glorfindel back from the dead he made a promise to Elrond that he would protect him as he had protected Earendil all those long years ago. When the Elven Lord had children he promised to watch over them just the same. When the twins and Glorfindel are met with trouble on a journey to Lothlorien, the elves of Imladris will quickly learn how seriously the golden haired elf keeps his promises. ***I'm posting the unedited version on here and we'll ensure to update any errors I come across. Before she was Ecthelien she was someone else, but that didn't matter. Her new parents loved her and all her strange ways. Everything was peaceful, everything was content. Gondolin was said to be the last hope of the Eldar, and for the most part it seemed perfect. But as the kingdoms around it begin to fall to the might of Morgoth will Gondolin still stand. The power of Gondolin relies upon the trust of all those within its walls, if all of the elves keep the secret of its location from the Dark Foe then the white walls will never fall. But when loyalty has to fight betrayel, which will win?

Some of it was written by @Ariador, and others by Neil. This is a collection of LotR-inspired nursery rhymes we wrote for Neil's nephew, they are mostly written in parody to already existing rhymes.

This is a retelling of the story of Tuor and the fall of the legendary Elven city of Gondolin. It is based on the original 1918 version by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, but updated as much as possible thanks to additional material from both Unfinished Tales (the later Tuor) and The History of Middle-earth series. I must also admit to interpolating my own narrative additions, where definitive source material was lacking, in an effort to round out the story and make it more entertaining for modern audiences. Finally, it is a self-contained story. That is, you don't have to know anything about the world of Middle-earth in order to read and enjoy it. No infringement intended or implied. Long unavailable on the Internet, but now available once again. Written by a Tolkien fan for the enjoyment of fellow Tolkien fans worldwide.

When Gondolin falls, everything known about Maeglin falls with it, and only the twisted tales of heartbroken survivors last. Tinwë, however, finds that history books may not always be right, and thus he begins a search; the search for the truth. Who really was Maeglin Lómion? These are the different answers, from those who hated him, to those who served him, and to those who loved him. Amour, jalousie, trahison, complot, peut-être connaissez-vous déjà leur histoire, mais je vais ici vous la raconter à ma façon. J'espère qu'elle vous plaira, Bonne lecture 😊 N.b : Je tiens à préciser, pour ceux qui ne l'auraient pas compris, que cette histoire est relatée dans le Silmarillion de Tolkien, et que donc ni l'histoire, ni les personnages de sont de mon invention. Je me contente seulement d'en faire le récit en y ajoutant ma touche personnelle...

Short storys set in Gondolin. Characters include Turgon, Idril, Ëarendil, Ecthelion and Glorfindel. Some humour and light-hearted scenes although the beginning is a bit dark.

A small company of Gondolindrim elves escaped The Fall of Gondolin and now is lost in the plains of Tumladen that surrounded the once magnificent city now in ruins. Can the elves carry on the legacy of Gondolin? Or will the company crumble like their homeland?

Glorfindel of Gondolin lives a happy life as lord of the Golden Flower. He enjoys life as an elf of Gondolin, and spends many days with his friend, Ecthelion. But one day, he meets an elleth on the watchtower. He falls for her, and she for him. He admires her fire and spirit. But when Gondolin falls, so does he. What happens when he comes back to Arda only to realize his line has persisted? Especially when he has little memory of his previous life.
