Zôrzimril has known nothing in her life, but the sickly light of the decaying tower of Minas Morgul. Taken into Mordor as a child by the Witch-King of Angmar, she is the last of his ancient bloodline lost to the centuries. Well educated in the lore of poisonous plants and dark magic, she is a pawn to be used after the Dark Lord's victory. Zôrzimril has long accepted and waited for her fate. Her obedience to the Dark Lord is complete. Until the Witch-King is defeated before the walls of Minas Tirith and the lands of Mordor destroyed. All that is left to the lady of the Dead City is the bitterness in her heart and the corpse of the Captain of the White Tower, the tool for her revenge.

(SPOILER ALERT) Boromir has always been my favorite character in Lord of the Rings...and I don't really like the ending he gets in the movie. I decided to write a fanfic that kinda finishes up his story a little more. Nothing has been. changed about his death, but I did write my own event following his death.

A captain of Gondor is met by Gandalf the Grey whilst on leave in the city of Osgiliath. Gandalf has tasked him with forming a company of men and elves each with their own specialty and part of elite units. The task they are assigned is treacherous and not all that leave shall return... I am new to writing but I truly love the stories told by Tolkein. This is the first chapter of hopefully many more.
