Many generations ago, in the vast and uncaring desert that is Harad, a spring was discovered that grew into a bright oasis of hope for the despairing Haradrim people. They spent many long years carefully building the towering aqueducts that give life to Harmindon, also aptly named City of Many Waters. The War of the Ring is long past, and young Jeddah has become the chief breadwinner in her family after her mother's sudden death. With a sister and elderly grandmother to take care of, Jeddah struggles to earn enough for the same happy lifestyle they knew when their mother was living. However, the unexpected wedding of the Ramyah's son changes their lives, for the better. Disclaimer: this story is set in @GreenScholarTales's 'Seeds of the White Tree' universe which I cannot recommend more highly. Some characters belong to her too.

When she turned eighteen years of age she was told of her true heritage which changed her whole view of life completely. She decided to leave Rivendell to explore Middle-Earth and find her true self - leaving her brother and mother behind. Many years went by making a skillful warrior out of her. A warrior that protected innocent lives from deaths harm and the darkness that was growing in the land each day. She was called by many names, but no one really knew who she really was. Her family and friends never heard of her again, but never stopped believing that they would all meet again in the time to come. One day an to her unknown wizard came to her and life took an unexpected turn. She was summoned back to Rivendell to discuss a matter of life and death that could change the destiny of Middle-Earth completely. It was then that her journey truly began. //I don't own any part of the Lord of the rings, all the rights go to J. J. R. Tolkien and New Line Cinema. The only parts that I own are my own scenes and characters.

Ember Skygem is a Hobbit. She wasn't the prettiest Hobbit (to herself that is. She had no idea what others thought), but she was quite talented. Ember took lessons from Elvish blacksmiths. She learned how to make weapons and jewlery. Her favorite things to make were rings; consequently, her collection was large. But a horrific memory keeps following her, so Ember goes to her adoptive Aunt's house every few months, who lives in Bree. Her Aunt helps her distract her from the memory when her adoptive parents are too busy to help her themselves. But when 4 hobbits walk into the bar of the inn, Ember is faced with a choice: find out what is so secretive about these hobbits and have the memory present in her mind, or stay with her Aunt to temporarily forget the stalking horror? ---------- The only character I know in Ember unless I say so otherwise. The rest I give full credit to J. R. R. Tolkien, the best author in the world. I will do my best to incorporate details from the book, but I will mostly be going off the movie because that is just easier. And for those of you who really care, this is a Frodo fanfic. In the last bleak days of the war a young healer who isn't all she appears to be struggles to save as many lives as she can. Hope is on the brink of being lost until she in her darkest moment watches from the ramparts as the Rohirrim charge the enemy head first. Her hope fragile yet restored. On the eve of riding to the black gates to make their final stand against sauron Eomer now a king realizes he may not make it back. When he notices a beautiful young woman making her way through the crowds outside the houses of healing. And only one thing crosses his mind 'if only...' A kiss is shared and neither of the two can forget one another. The war ends he must return to Rohan. She goes back to dol Amorth and takes on the title she forsake during the war. Will these two yearning souls met again? And when they do can they come to terms with their changed perceptions in their station? Time may only tell but fate played a part that night. This is a silly romance featuring characters such as Dumbledore, Gandalf, and Morgana. Although these are the names of some of the characters in my short story, they are only names and are not really the characters from the books. Obviously, I do not own these names, but I thought it would add a bit of humor to the story. :) Enjoy the spawn of my weird mind!

The One Ring glowed in his hand, that was not brave enough to let go and let it be destroyed. All these years, all these battles, all for nothing? He remembered the death of his King, Gil-Galad. And of Thranduil's dear father, Oropher. Every thing, every one they lost.. So with that thought, the Lord of Imladris pushed the King of the Dunedáin of the cliff. He watched with blank eyes as the man's eyes widened, as he along with the Ring fell into the pit of Mount Doom. Destroyed. If he knew that would meant to be the beginning of another battle, Elrond would not dare to do so. He would never kill Isildur. ---- [ WARNING ] Violence. Blood. Maybe triggering stuffs. Idk I'm trying to be as mild as I can. Excuse my two a.m. idea that just would not leave me alone. So this is a what if AU that the One Ring was destroyed BUT in the process killed Isildur too and the men blamed the elves so whoop war. There will be lots of elements from both The LOTR and The Hobbit and The Silm, and I tweaked in few cultures and time differences and all the things that would happen differently due to this AU. Eru help me that I can actually remember all those lores.. Oh yeah, there will be canon characters and few ocs. They are all vital to this story so I won't be just using them as random characters to just pop in. Enjoy reading!

But shortly after her sister's Wedding to Elrond of Imladris--or Rivendell, she finds herself sent away from her beloved Lorien. Something is searching for her, some evil seems to be seeking her out. Is it looking for her, or her mother, or both? She grows up, aware of who she is but still has the uncertainty of youth.
