The Rangers of the North had been asked by Gandalf to watch over and protect the Shire. In the course of this long mission, one of their number, Alvard, grew tired of the constant travelling. He met a young farmer's girl in Bree, and they fell in love. They settled down on a small farm on the edge of the Shire, and from there Alvard could watch over the hobbits while he started a family of his own. Many years later, Alvard's daughter, Alyanna, is given a message that needs to be delivered to a place far away. She decides that as the daughter of a ranger, it is her responsibility to carry this message. But when she takes on the quest, she does not realise how difficult a task this would turn out to be. ~~~~~ A middle-earth based story, set in a time between the events of the Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings.

One-shot. In which an old man tells a story, and others listen.

The war that pulled Prince Imrahil away, leaving his daughter, Lothiriel, steward in his absence ends. A new day dawns upon Gondor with the fall of the Enemy, ushering in a time of peace, fertile ground within which love might bloom. This is a little outside the scope of how I usually write. I tend to steer away from canon characters and almost every single one from Lord of the Rings makes at least an appearance here. I believe I've finally dipped from fan fiction adjacent writing to full-on fan fiction here.

Míryalinda, whose name means "beautiful singer", is a Shield-maiden of Rivendell. After being sent by Lord Elrond to find Estel, or Strider, she becomes caught up in a chain of events that could change her life. Deciding to join the fellowship after learning that Middle Earth's fate as well as her own are in the balance, will she succeed and find love along the way, or does fate have other plans? *This is in first person, though I plan to rewrite this one day (but it is not this day!) Ravera is still in Middle Earth, after somehow arriving there one morning from modern earth. After saving Boromir, but becoming critically injured herself, they continue on their journey, the timeline completely changed. With the timeline changed different things happened, and Ravera begins to find that things aren't happening like in the book, or the movie. Somethings she's just completely un-prepared for.

Aerinithil is the daughter of the third union between elf and man. Centuries before the War of the Ring, her parents are brutally murdered by servants of Sauron. What happens to a young half-elf after such a tragedy? And what secrets will be revealed six hundred years later, when she meets Isildur's Heir? A multi-chapter Aragorn/Aeri (OC). Updates hopefully weekly, but will always be updated within two weeks of the previous post.

Legolas meets a beautiful girl named Atheliæ. He is fascinated by her. But who is she really? Or what does she do in Ithilien? What makes Legolas when he finds out who she is? Cedrica ventures out on an unexpected journey to Rivendell with her childhood friend Boromir and finds herself on a quest with a company of strangers and the one person she hates the most.
