Aether's hands shot up in front of him protectively, as a beam of light grazed Childe's side. An arrow hurled at the window breaking glass, the shards narrowly missing the two boys. "If you've hurt her," Snapped Aether as he pushed Childe onto the table and held a hand to his neck, "I will burn you very slowly." Childe let out a loose chuckle. "You two really are siblings, and hurt her? I couldn't hurt girlie no matter how much I could want to." Aether's grip tightened. Maybe if he killed Childe, that'd make up for his failures. "Brother. Let him go," said a voice Aether hadn't heard in years. Although, in this story, the teacher doesn't disappear. None of the adults do. Sam, Astrid, Quinn, Caine, Diana, Brianna, Edilio and all of the characters just live a normal life. Or maybe not..

The year is 3051, and humans have finally properly adapted to nature and their surroundings. Life is seemingly perfect in this utopia of a world. Rion Santos, Rellin Taltman, Darah Baidoo, and Drake Merwin begin their voyage to Petelhron, an international required school for teens like him. Located in southern Europe, more than 200 languages are spoken there. It's meant as a training facility to teach teens from fifteen to twenty one how to use and embrace their abilities. It's a very, very large campus extremely far away from means of civilization, for protective purposes of course. There is a special place on campus for the teens with rare powers. This story will introduce you to four of them. Abilities are accustomed to a humans surroundings, making travel very taboo. People tend to stay within their region, to make sure their children have the best chance at getting powers that are useful. People that live more to the North tend to have heat-based powers, as for the South, they have more frost-based powers. Anybody in the middle is either mixed, which is a rarity, or living in a rare region, usually upper middle earth where heat and frost are more balanced. People with cold based powers tend to be more dark skinned and vis versa. The more light skinned you are the more likely your powers are heat based. Some people are just rarities. Most are famous, celebrities, well known, and egotistical, seen as their powers are so much better than simple hot and cold. But what are these different powers you ask? Why dont we find out?

Max wasn't like the others. He wasn't Sam with his laser hands or Caine with his telekinesis. He was just him. A normal kid. Someone waiting to die. The FAYZ wasn't for someone like him. So many battles, so much death, fear of the unknown. When would it end? There was atleast some small form of happiness in this hell, but would it even last?
