It's summer! And Killua fully expects to spend it like every other: working at his family's enterprise and applying to high-class universities, in hopes to make his family proud. Until he meets Gon... Killua Zoldyck and his sister spend a day at the pool, but in doing so, a certain person's attention is caught. The moment he lays his eyes on Killua, Gon Freecss decides he wants to win him over. The only problem is, due to his job, Killua doesn't have most days free. But Gon won't give up so easily. He vows to sneak Killua out of the house on multiple occasions, promising that each night will be another incredible adventure to remember. (KILLUGON) "Come out. If you don't, I'll cast a curse," Gon shouted into the alleyway, waving his slightly glowing wand around. There was a clattering of metal from the right side of the darkly lit alleyway, then a voice. "Really? Can you even point that thing in the right direction?" Gon jumped near to a meter up, dropping his wand due to his fright. All that followed was an exasperated sigh and the sound of small clicks against the ground. Out of the dark alley, a dirty, matted, paw stepped out into the harsh line of sun, quickly followed by a matted and dirty alleycat with brilliant blue eyes that stared into your soul. Gon looked at the cat for a while, confused before looking up again and trying to see if there was someone else in the alley. "A talking cat?" He whispered to himself, looking down just in time to see the cat roll its eyes. "Yes." In a world where magic is commonplace, there are a few who stand above the rest and those who want to. One of the people who are trying to achieve such a standard is Gon Freecs. A young wizard from Whale Island whose attempting to find his father, but getting the stronger is also one of his other goals. Once he sets off on his journey to find his father, he comes upon a power, magic, talking cat named Killua. They decide to travel together, Killua becoming his familiar and helping Gon learn magic as they travel the world to find his father.

He wandered the world he ended up lost in, couldn't catch a glance of a single small town boy... the world he now walked seemed different, darker with each step taken as the wind hurriedly carried the memories filled with nothing but pieces of his own regrets caused by his greed. The path ahead made him follow along, eager brown expecting with each step further to meet the oceans of two gorgeous blue. Like a distant dream the hope had dissapeared, now meeting nothing but two evil sharp cat-like eyes that stared back at him, claws shining under the pale moonlight. He couldn't fault him for not knowing of a better tomorrow, Gon didn't know of one himself as they both underestimated the path to their future. Even further beyond... all kinds of things emerge every tomorrow... Time was priceless. At least that's what they had a lot of. Every dawn could mean millions... at least that's what he learned on their everlasting journey.

This vaguely follows the plot of Hunter X Hunter, but it's in an alternate universe where Gon is a hockey player and Killua is a figure skater. Kurapika and Leorio are in this but they don't play a huge part. Tags will start to make more sense as I write more and add more characters.
