Kazura grew up in Meteor City for most of her life, and doesn't know her biological family. Her so-called 'family' are Granny Chiyo, from the Zoldyck family, and Kiyiko-nee, a pure-blooded Kurta. When news of the Hunter Exam reaches her, Granny Chiyo decides to let her go, telling her to look for a boy called Gon, stating he has something to do with Kazura's father. Kazura decides to take the Hunter Exam, where she meets the energetic Gon, cool-headed Killua, money-obsessed Leorio and the Kurta, Kurapika. She then discovers her feelings towards Killua, and makes sure Gon is alright. She also watches Kurapika, whilst mentally planning how to get him together with Kiyiko-nee. The Sixteen year old girl sat in a tree. Her eyes never strayed away from the twelve year old boy fishing. She needed to watch him. She needed to protect him. To help him grow. To help him learn. After all, it was her job. She was his big sister, and Auntie Mito always says the eldest always protects the youngest. Auntie Mito also always says the string must protect the weak. Not pray on them. That's why Auntie Mito made Tia promise to protect the weak. Tia always keeps her promises. She promised Gon when he was a baby that she'd never leave him. At least not by choice. She also promised him she'd always protect him. No matter what, Tia even has the scars to prove it. Scars, they always made the villagers cringe. They always made Auntie Mito flinch. But Tia wore them like medals. After all, scars meant you survived. Scars meant you grew. You grew smarter, stronger, and faster. Mito shook her head. Coming from her thoughts and again looked at her baby brother. Gon Freecss. He was trying to catch the lord of the coast. After all, Auntie Mito refuses to let him go until he catches it. And Tia won't go anywhere without Gon.She had to, needed to protect him. And she will. Along with Grandma. And Mito. And Gon. And whoever else can break through her armored wall. She'll protect anyone who needs to be protected. After all, the string protects the weak. Suddenly a question hit Tia. What would papa think of her resolve? Would papa agree? Disagree? Ehh. Tia didn't care. Papa does what he wants. So will Tia, and she wants to protect the weak. So she will. Tia watched as her baby brother yanked on his fishing rod. She smiled a small smile as he successfully caught the lord of the cost. Looks like Tia and Gon are going to be headed to the Hunter Exam. Tia wondered what Auntie Mito would say. Oh well, they'll find out here soon. Tia just hoped she'd get to take Aki and Rin along. With that final thought she jumped from the tree branch and landed gracefully on her feet.
