Killua knows what he wants, and he will hold on until he gets it. He wants to be able to tell Him how he really truly feels when he's around him. Initially he didn't understand what it was all about or where it is headed so along the way of the emotional rollercoaster of friendship or relationship? Mild anxiety plagues him, and he's quite sensitive. When they connect deeper, it is as if they were made for each other. That's at least what Gon felt, but Killua was fearful of that image and ended up rejecting Gon, leaving him disappointed and ashamed that he killed himself. Since he left, Killua feels guilty for not accepting him and telling him he felt the same but he doesn't know if he will really hear his apology or if he is never coming back.
