A group of young middle school students try to survive the first year as becoming teens. What they thought about school and how it was going to be as tough as one of the challenges they are going to face this year. They thought that they were put in the same class for academic reasons, not for magical reasons. Some of the students suspected something that didn't really make the class seem normal than any other classes they were in. With all of the suspicious going around and evil coming to arise the headteachers of the classes are forced to share out some information to the students. While knowing the information and what it could do for the world they start to do more than just sit in class and read textbooks. Instead, they are forced to train and improve their powers to as strong as they could be. The group is faced with difficult challenges that no kid or adult in their school can even imagine.

This story is about three middle school students trying to survive the rest of middle school without dying from something evil. When working on a project, a student named Sophia found a dusty old book underneath the school library floor. She showed her two other friends Judah and Zach which made them open the animus book that unleashed something greater than either of them can imagine. With some curiosity, they realized that the powers were waiting for them ever since they were born. The book didn't just give them magical powers. The powers had to be a weapon for something dangerous coming along. It even brought along a special entity to help the trio to build up their powers. With the training, the group gets their powers as strong as they can, even stronger than they can handle. Even with their powers, they can't protect themselves against students and teachers in middle school.

The village on the island is strewn with bodies. Some have been ripped open, others have been ripped apart; all have expressions of startled terror upon their faces. That low buzzing sound you hear is a thousand flies, crawling and flying over the corpses. Along the south side of the island trudge a group of grim-looking, ghostly men, who look neither to the left nor the right, and either cannot hear or are choosing to ignore the cries for help coming from the lighthouse. Just outside the village, there's a grassy recreation ground, for children to play in and run around. There are some children there now. Some of them are in several pieces. Their blood has soaked into the ground. The other side of the causeway, there's a shack, where a man is tied to a chair. Half mad to begin with, he has been beaten and tortured almost to death, and now is little more than a gibbering, nervous wreck. Just down from the village, there's a dock. It's the only way off the island, but the boats are guarded by a cluster of other-worldly creatures, with big teeth, powerful limbs and absolutely no mercy. From a distance, when they stand on their hind legs, they look almost human, but don't be fooled. They are not human. The caves... best not go too near the caves. [This is the completed first draft.
