Privet Drive was a normal neighborhood, with normal houses, and normal lawns. They also had normal husbands and normal wives with normal children. However, at Number Four Privet Drive, the Dursely family had a very abnormal secret.

Dudley Dursley was only five years old when the baby appeared on the front doorstep. Before the baby appeared, he liked to think his parents were quite normal ones. His mother wasn't overly strict, but she wasn't lax in enforcing her rules with Dudley either. His father wasn't mean at all, though Dudley didn't get to see him very often due to all of the man's work. But after the baby appeared, everything changed and not for the better. Half of the time his mother acted cold and distant, almost like a robot that was programed to raise a child. She attempted to force toys and food down his throat, all while giving the baby completely nothing, as if doing so would fix all the problems she's ever had. She pulled. His father on the other hand, acted the complete opposite. Whenever the man was home from work, he acted very aggressive, almost crazed in his attempt to turn Dudley into a strong, yet terrible young man. He urged Dudley to hit and slap the baby, among other equally as terrible things. He pushed. Dudley, however, had no idea what to do or think. Everything seemed so confusing to him, and he could hardly make anything out. His parents told him over and over that the baby was a freak, a demon. He just didn't understand. How could a baby be evil? He was just a baby! And so Dudley becomes both a puller and a pusher. He yanks and he shoves and stands over the baby, his baby brother, and attempts to protect him with all of his willpower. But what will Dudley do when his parents finally take the abuse of his baby brother too far?

I would like to credit @WilIsMyAlias for this idea. An Au where our favorite Potions Master is born a squib and becames a Potions Master. I will be have Nice Petunia and Dudley. Vernon will be a selfish asshole, Harry will still have magic, but I will be bringing out more on his ability to do wordless and wandless magic. Severus Snape was born a squib. He was offered a chance to study at Hogwarts where he met Lily, James, Sirius, and Remus. Lily and Remus were his friends despite finding out that Remuc was a werewolf. Severus worked hard to become a Potions Master, before he found out about Lily's death. Now he's to raise her and his enemy's child, while balancing his work as a Hogwarts teacher and as a spy for the Dark Lord. Lets find out how he takes on raising a child and his job.

Dudley had never thought he could hate his parents, but it seemed all it took was them discovering that one of his sons had magic and treating him as bad as they did Harry. Discovering that they let him sleep in the cupboard under the stairs whenever he stayed over was the last straw. Aunt Marge is now determined to make Dudley reconnect to his parents, but not wanting to succumb under the pressure, he and his wife decide to take their family on a trip. It is time to reconnect to the magical side of the family to see what the options are for a magical child in a non-magical family.
