This modification of one of the final scenes of Good Omens is dedicated to fans who felt empty after the ending of Season 3. I tried to leave in the parts that, as far as I know, Terry Pratchett had come up with while making the rest more of a "happily ever after" than the one we got. *Note: one of the Good Omens co-authors, Neil Gaiman, received serious allegations and stepped down from the writing and production of the final season (season 3). He is not listed in the final production and, as far as I could determine, did not earn money from season 3. I therefore decided to watch the season and write this fanfiction in honour of Terry Pratchett and the fans of the book and T.V. series who, if he were still alive, would have gotten a full final season and a much more fitting ending for this beautiful love story between an angel and a demon. This is a fanfiction based on the tv show Good Omens. If you know it, you instantly have my respect. In any case, just know that this fanfic isn't very long (barely ten chapters) and there are no spicy/hot or NSFW scenes (maybe a bit of romance here and there). Aziraphale, advisor to the king of the sunrise kingdom, is thrown through a loop when an old friend of his comes stumbling into the middle of a church service. Completely drunk. Crowley hadn't seen his angel in many years, and after catching a glimpse of him inside the church got absolutely shitfaced. In his drunken state he came into the chapel, ranting and raving about he and Aziraphale's past. This of course is only a teaser, to what actually had happened all those years ago. (Been a while since I've written a fanfic, hope y'all enjoy)

Crowley, big bad demon that he is, knows that he's hopelessly obsessed with his only companion of 6,000 years but can't risk ruining their fragile friendship. Aziraphale, righteous and loyal servant of Heaven, doesn't know what he thinks of his demonic acquaintance but knows for a fact that he cannot risk losing sight of the Divine Plan. Their ineffable God seems to have other ideas. More or less following the plot of Good Omens (the t.v. show and the book, mostly the show) but focusing strictly on Crowley and Aziraphale's point of view, with some added twists and turns and a much heavier focus on them actually developing a relationship.
