They suppressed her memories to make her memories to make her obedient, brainwashed her to be incapable of self worth and value, literally programming her to be a killing machine. They trained her to kill, to be an ruthless assassin who won't hesitate to pull the trigger. Raven was broken but she didn't want to inflict the same pain on others she had to endure her whole life. She tried to forget what happened in the lab and the monstrous side of her. Thankfully she escaped and made new friends and allies and found people she would call her family, but the shackles of her past were still there.
