Jack and Felix are both experienced biomedical engineers, living and working in south-east Brighton. Both seek to perform a successful mind transplant, and Mark willfully volunteers. If successful, his conscious mind would be fully functional from an identical robotic body, but they cannot predict how he will react, or how the AI will affect his mental health.
