After Slappy's failed attempt incorporating himself into the Quinn family, he ends up being thrown into a lake, chained up inside his case. It isn't until Dahlia Solana, a 16 year old sophomore student at Fortuna Shores Academy, happens to notice the case going down the lake during a walk through the woods. She successfully retrieves the chained case and brings it back home to inspect it. Little does she know, her life would begin to get a bit more interesting. _____________________________________________ Canon divergence during the second movie, where instead of Slappy freeing himself from the chained case and causing the rest of the original events, Dahlia instead finds him years later after being thrown out. When four teenagers in a small-town called Redwoodville, North Carolina, discover an abandoned house, their lives get turned upside down in the blink of an eye. The abandoned house was originally owned by a woman in the 1930s named Marilyn Revado, whom died alone in her home when her dog turned on her, mauling her unexpectedly. She now haunts the house, cursing or murdering anyone who dares step foot in what she still considers as her home. Now she's called the Demilord. She can only be defeated with a sharp knife like object called the Crydon, which can only be found in the countryside, in a cave near the town. When the teenagers enter the home, everything seems alright at first. But then things turn topsy turvy real quick. They get locked in, and.. well, let's just say.. things happened. When their parents noticed that their children had been gone for perhaps a couple hours too long, they sent out a search party. What was found shook the town to its core. Two of the teenagers were dead. But, remarkably, the other two survived. They were unharmed save for a few scratches and bruises. But they told the authorities about what they claimed to have seen - a woman inside the home, a ghost, which they ended up defeating. But how? And why a ghost? Were the teenagers crazy, shellshocked, or were they correct? Our story's protagonist is a twenty-two-year-old American writer who is moving to Japan. She is a massive horror fan and especially loves horror manga. Her inspiration is Junji Ito. What she doesn't know is that the apartment she's living in has a supernatural curse that makes all the characters from the mangaka's stories come to life, and they are after her.
