What happens when you fall in love with your best friend? What happens if that friend just happens to be a boy? What happens if it just so happens to be the 60s? For Chris Chambers, this is the situation he finds himself in. After falling head over heels for Gordie Lachance, he tries everything in his power to keep his secret safe. But after Gordie gets a girlfriend, his world seems like it's falling apart. With an all-guy camping trip with Vern, Teddy and Gordie coming up, will he finally confess his true feelings? Or will he watch Gordie and his girlfriend get closer and closer until he finally moves on?
