It is this time of the year again - Esther's husband is leaving home for work and is to be gone for the months to come. Now, as she sails the seven seas, Esther has to find it in her to handle the creature that makes merfolk tremble with fear, all the while trying to find her way in the male-dominated world of piracy and to decide how she feels about the love of her life that has deceived her for so long. Moreover, as if it all isn't enough, it seems that she, with her allegedly royal blood, is the only one capable of either stopping things from escalating into a catastrophe of a global scale... or bringing it closer.

She didn't trust the girl one bit, thought she'd complicate things& when a stranger's brought into the camp by unsuspecting half wood nymphs and Avery is wary of him, unsure what he is, the camp starts to turn against her, and the human Natalie only causes the scales to dip more to the stranger's favor against Avery, causing Avery to strengthen the belief that humans are not worth saving, even if they did share some of their blood

In Greek mythology, Medusa, originally a beautiful woman, was transformed into a monstrous Gorgon with snakes for hair and a gaze that could turn people to stone, after being violated by Poseidon in Athena's temple.

This is the spin off to the story "The Jesters" that I have written so if you see this without reading that, I advise you read it. It was a hot summer day and you and the boys ran pit of things to do. That changes when you three decide to explore an abandoned carnival that you find on a walk home from the park. You explore the creepy place until dark falls over. When the three of you return to the entrance, the gate is locked and suddenly the lights go on at the carnival. At first no one is seen, as the place seems to be ran off of nothing. Until you enter the mirror maze and meet someone... or well something..
