So, without further ado, here is "Darling in the CitruXX: The Great Life Fiber." ************** I'm quite sure I'm not the only person who happens to follow two of the most popular anime series that have begun this winter season: Darling in the Franxx and Citrus. One takes the perspective of a dystopian future and the ruthless dictatorship of a scientists' council over a genetically modified race of human beings. The other begins in 2012 and tells the love story between a bashful, chestnut-haired, yet loving girl and her composed, black-haired, sexy stepsister. And yet, despite already having so much plot to combine, a third anime which aired in the recent past has propelled itself to the forefront. It takes place in between these two stories' chronological timelines, with the goal of stopping an extraterrestrial threat from conquering the universe... So the real question now is, how is it even possible for these two - wait, three - completely different anime/manga series to merge together as a single, intertwined narrative? Well, that's why my colleague @BigPoppaAihara and I have decided to collaborate on one of the most outrageous crossovers ever.
