Aziraphale and Crowley didn't know what they were getting into when they adopted Eve. Neither of them could guess how deep they got themselves in. ----- A/N: Now I actually had most of this in mind as I wrote the first part. After Season 2 I decided to change it up a bit to enclude those events.

It broke Aziraphale's heart to leave Crowley on Earth, but he had a very good reason to do so.
